GLR Recreational Masters 2024 Spring, Summer and Fall
This program is intended for those looking to row in the early mornings and focus on rowing technique and building up fitness through steady cardio sessions by rowing on the Merrimack river in Lawrence.
Practice is 3 days per week Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 5:45-7:45am. The sessions are coached by Ulrike Kapp and consist of technical sessions, breathing exercises, stretches and building up fitness in a relaxed environment. We have indoor facilities to use when needed but will prioritize rowing on the water when we can!
Recreational Masters Spring 2024 will run from March 4th through May 24th (12 weeks)

Recreational Masters Summer 2024 will run from May 27th through August 14th (12 weeks)
Recreational Masters Fall 2024 will run from August 27th through November 8th (12 weeks)
The program cost the for each season is $550 and is fully inclusive of all coaching, equipment, membership & facilities costs.
GLR Competitive Masters 2024 Spring, Summer and Fall
Led by GLR Head Competitive Masters coach Larry Bourdeau, the competitive Masters team rows 3 days a week from 6:00-8:00pm (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The comp team rows throughout the year while competing at local and national level regattas. The spring season will focus on getting out in boats to build speed while preparing for the regatta seasons ahead. The goal for the team is to get out and race in sweep boats, but the team has access to sculling boats to race as well. The full racing schedule will be posted soon!

Competitive Masters Full on water year (Spring through Fall) will run from March 4th through November 8th.
The Masters Competitive team has a full year sign up option for those who would like to commit to rowing at GLR for the full on water year. The cost for the full on water year is $1550
